 About your therapist:
Ann McMillan has been licensed in the art of massage therapy since 2001. Ann has years of training in the chiropractic and medical fields of massage therapy. She also has years of experience offering luxurious massage treatments in a spa environment and in the comfort of your own surroundings. Ann originates from southwest Florida but has traveled all over and has ended up here in the western mountains of North Carolina. Ann and her husband love the peace, serenity and connection to nature that this area has to offer.
What to expect:
Ann has combined all of her training and education into a customized massage treatment that also utilizes energy healing techniques. You can expect to feel cleansed, relaxed and rejuvenated after your treatment.
Ann will arrive at your cabin at your pre-arranged appointment time. She will need 10 minutes to set up her massage table and supplies and then meet with you for a consultation regarding your massage therapy needs. She will inquire about what you want to accomplish from the treatment; deep relaxation and/or areas that need attention as well as what type of massage pressure you enjoy.
She will than leave the room to wash up while you undress to your comfort level and get situated on the table. After your luxurious 60 or 90 minute treatment she will exit the area and give you a plenty of time to let the treatment soak in and allow you to dress.
With a glass of drinking water in your hand to help enhance the effects of your treatment, she will than pack up her table and leave you to the beauty of your cabin where you can soak in the hot tub or relax by the creek or simply be.
Additional info:
When scheduling, please keep in mind an additonal 30 minutes to your treatment time which allows Ann to set up, consult with you and pack up her equipment.
If two or more guests will be receiving massage therapy, Ann will just need a few minutes in between guests to put new sheets on the table.
