We just left our most recent visit to Cherokee Mountain Cabins and we already can’t wait to go back. This was our 3rd visit since fall of 2022 and we stayed in Timber Ridge. Before this visit we have stayed in Barefoot Lodge and Heavens Ridge. It’s so hard to pick a favorite because each one has such wonderful and unique features.

Before this visit we have stayed in Barefoot Lodge and Heavens Ridge. It’s so hard to pick a favorite because each one has such wonderful and unique features. I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the cabins. The views are stunning and the privacy and luxury are unmatched. It’s my favorite place to go to reset and recharge. The staff is so amazing. I will say the driveway to Timber Ridge and the views from the porch were breathtaking. Jodi truly goes out of her way to be helpful, accommodating and kind. I’ve met housekeeping staff, maintenance personnel and we also met Jonathan the GM briefly, every one we have come in contact with have been so kind and welcoming. I cannot wait for our next visit!

We stayed the weekend in Hide Away Cabin with our 12 yr old son. The loft was perfect for him, he loved the views from the windows and the pool table was a hit! The cabin was immaculate and very organized! The king size bed was super comfy. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the log burning fireplace on the back porch deck.

The cabin was immaculate and very organized! The king size bed was super comfy. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the log burning fireplace on the back porch deck. The path down to the river is a little steep but totally doable with little switch backs. There’s even a very nicely constructed suspension bridge down the trail. The gas burning fireplace in the living room kept the room warm. We didn’t make any meals in the cabin as we ate out for our meals because we were enjoying the outdoors. The drive leading in and back out can be an adventure…glad we had a 4x4 truck
