Luxury Accommodations in the Nantahala Mountains

Enjoy private, secluded cabins in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest. Our luxury accommodations are just off the Nantahala River, close to Nantahala Lake and  Nantahala River Gorge. And, if your plans involve a large gathering, we have an event center  that's exactly what you're looking for. 

General Location

Cherokee Mountain Cabins is located on Nantahala Mountain, just twelve miles from Andrews and just a short drive from Murphy, Franklin, Bryson City, Cherokee, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nantahala Lake is just five minutes south of us, while Nantahala River Gorge is a few minutes north. And, we're less than an hour from two Native American casinos. Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino is just west of us in Murphy, North Carolina. And, to the east, Harrah's Cherokee Casino is in nearby Cherokee, North Carolina.

Site Locations

The relative locations of our cabins  and event center pavilion are shown in this map. Our creek side cabins are located along White Oak Creek, which flows beside Wayah Road. Our mountainside cabins and mountain top cabins offer spectacular views of the Appalachian Mountains . When you arrive at Cherokee Mountain Cabins, our office will be the first building on your right. Please note our roads are gravel, and 4WD is preferred.

GPS Directions

The GPS address to use for directions is 61 Bear Creek Road, Topton NC 28781. This will bring you to the property. The office will be on your right. Do not rely on your phone for directions.  Cell service along Wayah Road is virtually non-existent. If you use Google Maps, download them ahead of time.
